Holiday Inn Express Nanning Jiangnan, an IHG Hotel

My dad and I stayed here during Asian New Year. The checkin counter is surprisingly small, I wasn't even sure it was the checkin counter until we walked up to it. They gave us a room on the 30th floor with a nice view of the city and the bridge. The room was huge but the window was not so big. Room had a nice work table, an arm chair and a chaise lounge. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water for long showers. The free breakfast was superb, the nicest breakfast we'd had all week, we went back for seconds and thirds. The feast covered a range from congee, to noodles, to roasted veggies and spicy okra. You can tell the kitchen staff was excellent. The main chef came out to QA every hour in his mega tall hat. I really appreciate that they had a laundry room on the 5th floor which was FREE TO USE. I didn't even need to bring detergent because the machines were automated. Both washer and dryer ran on 30 minute cycles. In one hour, I had clean and dry clothes. Check out is 12pm. When we asked for a late checkout, they kindly offered 2pm which was more than we needed. Good wifi. Many families were hosting new years parties on the 5th floor so it was rowdy and smelled strongly of smoke. Also there were a lot of drunk people.
